Support Mission Happy Cats
Help us build a better future for the cats
Mission Happy Cats is a newly established association, and we're starting with very limited resources and a lot to do.
We currently have 38 cats in our care, including kittens and adults needing sterilisation, veterinary treatment and loving homes.
Every donation — however small — helps us provide the care they need today while working towards a more sustainable future for cats in our area.
What we're working towards
🐾 Sterilising the colony
Our biggest priority is sterilisation.
Sterilisation is essential both for the welfare of the cats and for bringing the local stray-cat population under control.
We have already begun sterilising the cats, but there are still many more waiting.
Every cat sterilised means fewer unwanted litters, fewer kittens needing homes and less pressure on the surrounding wildlife.
So far this year, we have sterilised 4 female cats. To sterilise the 34 cats we currently have, we will need to raise £1, 240.
🏡 Creating safe accommodation
With 38 cats currently relying on Mission Happy Cats, one of our most urgent priorities is creating suitable accommodation.
We need to build two weatherproof shelters with large, secure outdoor enclosures — one for the male cats and one for the females.
This will allow us to safely separate the cats while our sterilisation programme continues, prevent further unplanned litters and give them protected indoor space alongside room to climb, play, rest and enjoy the outdoors safely.
Our target of €6,000 will help fund the shelters, secure metal enclosures, bases, weatherproofing and the equipment needed to turn them into safe and comfortable spaces for the cats.
